Deep, almost opaque purple with a vibrant magenta rim . Intensely aromatic and complex, with layered notes of wild blackberries, fresh plums, black cherries, and violets, all wrapped in a delicate hint of spice. This is a fortified Malbec, crafted in a Ruby Port style. The 2018 vintage was selected for its ability to retain fresh, natural acidity and a good concentration of sugar, which was then arrested during fermentation by adding a neutral grape spirit . The palate is full-bodied and structured, with a lush, velvety texture from 2 years of aging in 500-liter barrels. Flavors of dark fruit, liquorice, and subtle oak lead to a remarkably long, balanced, and lingering finish.
