What sets Bordiga Maraschino apart is its uncompromising selection of raw materials and an unconventional philosophy of production. Unlike most maraschinos, Bordiga uses not only Marasca cherries but also Amarena cherries. Even more remarkably, the distillery macerates whole cherries – pulp, pits, stems, twigs, and even leaves – separately in grain alcohol for 30 to 35 days. These individual infusions are then blended and redistilled. Finally, vanilla pods from Madagascar are added, lending a warm, deep aromatic note that completes the symphony of flavours.

All botanicals are hand‑harvested in the high Alps, dried naturally in the pure mountain air, and grown without pesticides or chemicals. Each batch respects the old family recipes and is crafted by hand, allowing the character of each season to shape the final spirit.
