Insel Mariannenaue THX BOB Chardonnay Reserve

This distinctive German Chardonnay comes from some of the oldest Chardonnay vines on Mariannenaue Island, planted in 1978.

The wine has an unusual history: the vines arrived on the island through a collaboration between Prince Friedrich Nikolaus of Prussia and Robert Mondavi, who brought Chardonnay material from California and experimented with the variety together.
